Sorting through old photographs,
We were barely 21,
Burning fast like a cigarette,

The nights were long, the days were short,
But you learnt to sleep it off.
Drunk & stoned & far from home,
We could never get enough.

Getting past on the bones of our arses,
Singing the same old songs.

Another beer, another bar,
Never a lonely night.
We'd snort cocaine & drink champagne,
Thinking everything was alright.

I've heard every fucking story,
I've been & I know.

So many days lost in the haze,
Knew them now they're gone.
Can still see them through the bottle,
Still them sing their songs.

Move along as the years go by,
Well I pretty much feel numb.
Memories fade, some new ones made,
Then I'm the forgotten one.
